Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI)
The MMPI is a required psychological evaluation for all Level 3 and Level 4 (PPO) security officers in Texas. Conducted by a licensed psychologist, the assessment consists of true/false statements that evaluate personality traits and potential psychological concerns. After submitting your request, the psychologist will contact you via email, provide access to the online assessment, and schedule a follow-up Zoom session. Once complete, documentation and results will be sent to you or your company representative.

Online PSP Level 3 Training
This advanced training is mandatory for armed security officers and covers firearm safety, defensive tactics, use of force laws, and emergency response. Upon completion, participants are eligible to apply for their Level 3 Commissioned Security Officer license.

Code Chapter 35), a criminal conviction may disqualify you from obtaining a registration, commission, or license in the private security industry.
